A talented field of 16 plus two emergencies has been confirmed for this weekend’s Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) on day 1 of The Championships, offering punters particularly healthy odds and several key opportunities to place a winning bet.

Yet to finish outside the places in three race starts this preparation, talented three-year-old Lady Cumquat is currently featured as outright $5.50 favourite in betting markets for success in the 2014 Adrian Knox Stakes.

Finishing second amongst classy company in the TAB Number 1 Club Plate (1100m) on debut in June, the Northern Meteor filly is building towards a hopeful appearance in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes (1600m) on April 19th, but will have to win convincingly this weekend if any chance of figuring.

Scoring two wins and two seconds form six starts this time in, Amanpour will leave from barrier 9 this weekend and will be partnered by jockey Tommy Berry.
